Inspections!

   Living in the Disney housing is great.....it's very nice, pretty affordable, and they offer many various activities just for cast members in the housing. Unfortunately, because it's Disney housing, they conduct apartment inspections. It's not just vacuum and dust; no, it's vacuum, dust, scrub floors, clean out the fridge, have absolutely no trash in the cans, nothing on the floor that shouldn't be (ie., clothes, papers, etc), and no dirty dishes in the dishwasher (what? yeah, you read that correctly). If you don't pass inspection, everyone in the apartment is charged an extra $25 for the next week's rent. But, if you pass, you get cookies!! And, if you do a really good job, you can get the white glove award which comes with fancy chocolate and a certificate! Last week, Stephanie and I came up with a list of things that needed to be done for the inspection (we weren't worried about passing, but we did want to try for a white glove award) and we all signed up for 2 or 3.
   Today is our inspection. They haven't come yet, but our apartment looks wonderful so we shouldn't have anything to worry about. The most important thing I'm concerned with at this point is that it stays this way. I'll let you know how it goes once we're through!
